ANNE HATHAWAY

A Brooklyn native, Anne Hathaway was born on November 12, 1982. Named after Anne Hathaway, Shakespeare's wife.

From an early age, Hathaway loved performing and performed in school plays.

In 2001, Hathaway played Mia Thermopolis in “The Princess Diaries,” launching her career. The picture was a hit and launched her career.

In addition to acting, Hathaway sings well. As Fantine in “Les Misérables,” she showed her vocal range.

Hathaway earned the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress as Fantine in “Les Misérables.” She gave an emotive performance that moved audiences.

Hathaway is a multi-talented artist with skills in acting, singing, and dancing. She has studied ballet, jazz, and other forms of dance.

Hathaway supports many charities, including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and The Lymphatic Education & Research Network, outside of acting.
