Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner's wife, has filed for divorce. According to TMZ, the designer filed for divorce on Monday, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Baumgartner, 49, requested joint custody of their three children—Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12—in her filing.
However, because there is a prenuptial agreement in place, according to TMZ, she didn't ask for spousal support.
Then, on Tuesday, in response to his ex-wife's petition, Costner also requested joint custody of the kids.
Baumgartner and the "Yellowstone" actor started dating in 1999, shortly after Costner divorced Bridget Rooney, with whom he has son Liam, 27.
After a brief breakup in 2003, the handbag designer and Costner reconnected the following year and married in Aspen, Colorado.
Cayden, their oldest son, was born in May 2007, and Hayes, their second son, was born in February 2009. Grace, the couple's daughter, was born the next year.
The "Hidden Figures" actor was previously married to Cindy Costner, but the couple divorced in 2004. They also have three children: Annie, 39, Lily, 36, and Joe, 35.
The separation comes after The Washington Post reported that "Yellowstone" — the show that "reinvigorated" his career and earned him a Golden Globe for his role as John Dutton — had ended.
The show was cancelled after five seasons owing to a disagreement between Costner and creator Taylor Sheridan.
