According to TMZ Sports on Friday, Odell Beckham Jr., a wide receiver recently signed by the Baltimore Ravens, has been listed as a suspect in a Los Angeles assault investigation.

According to the allegation, a woman informed police that Beckham wrapped his hand around her throat and applied "light pressure" while they were at the popular local restaurant Delilah a few weeks ago.

The woman notified authorities a few days after the event, according to the report, and Beckham and the woman spent the rest of the evening at the club together without any other problem.

A Beckham spokesman informed TMZ Sports that they are not aware of any investigation and that the wide receiver fiercely denies breaking any laws.

Delilah's owner, John Terzian, told TMZ that the accusation was incorrect after his business was contacted regarding an investigation.

He said that there were no proof that this person was anywhere near the location where the event is said to have happened.

Less than two weeks have passed since the three-time Pro Bowl wideout signed to a $15 million contract with the Ravens for the 2023 season when the report came.

Beckham, 30, missed the 2022 season after injuring his left ACL in the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl LVI victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on Feb. 13, 2022.

In 96 career games (91 starts), Beckham has 531 catches for 7,367 yards and 56 touchdowns while playing for the New York Giants (2014–18), Cleveland Browns (2019–21), and Rams.

In five of his first six seasons, he had more than 1,000 receiving yards.
