The musician Nelly has verified that Nelly and Ashanti have actually reconciled.

In a recent interview on the “Boss Moves” TV show hosted by Rasheeda from “Love and Hip Hop,” the Grammy-winning emcee finally addressed the ongoing conjecture around their revived romantic relationship.

 

Rasheeda confronted Nelly and straightforwardly asked if they were back together or not. She seemingly surprised him and provoked a genuine and enthusiastic response from the rapper, including a sincere reaction.

 

“Yes, we have reconciled,” he stated in a video that was shared again by the Shade Room. “I believe it caught both of us off guard,” The occurrence was not premeditated. I believe that both of us are essentially engaged in our own activities.

Nelly, aged 48, stated that the passage of time and physical separation seemed to contribute to his and the “What’s Luv?” singer’s improvement in their relationship.

 

“Occasionally, being apart allows for a deeper understanding of one another,” he stated. “You have the ability to request a visual representation of the exact perspective they have.” Indeed, it is a common occurrence for individuals to exhibit protective behaviour inside their personal relationships. Although we are aware of our wrongdoing, we are determined to persist in our stance. However, we all fall prey to that.

 

When Rasheeda inquired about the current state of his relationship with Ashanti, he affirmed.

 

“Yes,” he stated. “I mean, as there is no pressure involved.” Prior to this, I perceived that both of us were pursuing our respective careers. However, when other individuals become involved in the process, it can become challenging.

Nevertheless, some hours later, Ashanti publicly revealed the romantic relationship on her Instagram stories while preparing for the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. She proudly displayed a purse adorned with a photograph of herself and the hip-hop singer.

 

“In this photograph, we exchanged contact information at the VMAs in 2003, which was two decades ago, to be precise,” she wrote, while posting a close-up image of their faces on the purse. Upon her arrival at the awards presentation in New Jersey, the “Always on Time” singer willingly posed with the luggage on the pink carpet.

 

The musical collaborators engaged in an intermittent romantic relationship for approximately 11 years until terminating their partnership in 2013 – causing great emotional distress to numerous fans who supported them throughout that period.

Nelly and Ashanti, both aged 42, have been seen together on multiple occasions throughout the past year, although they have not openly discussed the nature of their relationship.
