The New Fantastic Four MCU might cast Margot Robbie as Sue Storm.

The “Barbie” actor might be included in the Fantastic Four MCU Cast.

Margot Robbie rumored to be in talks for the role of Sue Storm in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) reboot of Fantastic Four Cast. According to insider Daniel Richtman, Marvel has offered the role to the actress known for her portrayal of Harley Quinn in DC movies. However, this doesn’t mean that Robbie is already cast in the 2025 film, as she may still pass or decline the offer. Other actresses reportedly being considered for the part include Mila Kunis, Jodie Comer, and Allison Williams.

 

Should Robbie accept the role of Sue Storm, also known as the Invisible Woman, it would mark her first appearance in the MCU, which has cemented itself as one of the most lucrative and renowned franchises in the film industry. Robbie’s acting abilities have earned her both critical and commercial success, and her name alone could heighten interest in the film, which is part of Phase Six of the MCU.

 

Fantastic Four is a superhero team title created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1961, and it was the first such comic book series produced by Marvel Comics. The franchise has undergone several adaptations for the screen, including a 1994 unreleased film, two movies in 2005 and 2007, and a 2015 reboot, all of which received mixed to negative reviews and failed to launch a successful franchise.

Marvel Studios, which was acquired by Disney in 2009, regained the rights to the characters in 2019 after a deal with Fox, and announced that it would develop a new version of the property. The MCU Fantastic Four 2025 will be directed by Matt Shakman, who gained acclaim for his work on the TV series WandaVision, and is expected to feature a high-profile cast.

 

Besides Robbie, Adam Driver is rumored to be in talks for the role of Reed Richards, aka Mr. Fantastic, and Paul Mescal for Johnny Storm, aka Human Torch. However, no official casting announcements have been made yet. The film is set to be released on February 14, 2025, as part of Phase Six of the MCU, which includes other highly anticipated projects such as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and Blade.

The MCU is a cultural phenomenon that has made billions worldwide, expanding to TV shows, comics, video games, and theme park attractions. The Fantastic Four are beloved characters in the Marvel universe and their MCU inclusion is expected to generate excitement and buzz among fans and audiences.

In a surprising turn of events, director Jon Watts announced in April 2022 that he was leaving his position to take a break from making superhero movies. But just a few months later, in August, rumors started circulating that Matt Shakman, director of Wandavision, was in early negotiations to take over the reins of the upcoming Fantastic Four movie. These rumors were finally confirmed during the Disney event D23 in September.

As for the script, it was announced in September that Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer would be the ones writing it.
