Jarez Posey, the rapper’s longtime manager, reported to The Associated Press on Thursday that Coolio died because fentanyl and heroin, and methamphetamine were also found in his system.
According to The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, his death was accidental, and mentioned that cardiomyopathy was the main cause. Posey confirmed that the investigators determined that severe asthma and smoking cigarettes took part in Coolio’s death.
The ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ rapper was initially born as Artis Leon Ivey Jr. on 1st August 1963. Coolio has died at the Los Angeles home of a friend on 28th September 2022. He was 59.
