Jisoo from Blackpink has become the last member to make a solo debut with her EP “ME.” It was released on Friday.
Blackpink’s first debut was in 2016 and has become one of the biggest girl groups in the world. They broke several records like having the most subscribers on YouTube as an artist.
According to local media, Pop star Lady Gaga will be putting on a performance with the group. It will be held at a state dinner that will be hosted by the U.S. President Joe Biden for the South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol in late April.

The presidential office denied the reports on Friday although Blackpink’s agency, YG Entertainment said they were reviewing the offer.
Jisoo told fans, “We have our concerts and Coachella in April as a group. We have great things coming up,” in an online news conference.
She was not nervous about her first solo debut. She added that many meetings and a lot of thought went into her first record.
The other members of Blackpink had already released their solo work. Jisoo is the last one to ever do so.
Jennie, a member of Blackpink, released her first solo work in 2018. Rose and Lisa also made their solo debut in 2021.
The group is already on a world tour “Born Pink” in Seoul in October which is scheduled to continue until June.

According to YG Entertainment, pre-orders for her debut album surpassed 1.31 million copies as of Thursday.
According to Guinness World Records, the K-Pop superstars also become the most-streamed female band on Spotify earlier this month.
Blackpink’s songs had a massive 8,880,030,049 individual streams. They overtook the British pop group Little Mix.

1) As this is your first album as a solo artist, how are you feeling about this “comeback,” Jisoo?
I waited for the comeback with the fans, checking their reactions every time a teaser was released. I’m excited to finally show what I’ve prepared for a long time. I would be thrilled if my fans are delighted with an album that is full of my essence.
2) Please introduce your album, “Me.”
While preparing for the album, I asked myself, “What could be my charm as a soloist?” I wanted to show a new and diverse image while still protecting my identity. This album is the result of looking inward and expressing myself through countless concerns.
I participated in the overall aspects of the album and approached it with that mindset from beginning to end. Through the process of discovering new charms of myself that I didn’t know before, I found myself growing and becoming stronger.
3) How did the BLACKPINK members support you?
They watched the preparation process and shared their opinions even during their busy schedules; seeing the members’ positive reactions gave me great courage and confidence.
Rosé, who happened to be in LA, even came to the music video shoot; it was a bit lonely to do it alone after always being with the members, but seeing Rosé made me feel like my energy was 100% charged.
BLACKPINK has always been known for how its members support each other and their bonds that are comparable to those of a family.
Fans love how Lisa, Rosé, and Jennie are very supportive of JISOO’s debut album release.
